Joining the Saguaro Wrestling Team for the 2026/2027 Season means becoming hard to shake in every part of life.

 You do not need experience. 

You do not need to "look" like a wrestler. 

You do not need to already be strong.

You just need to be willing to show up.

Wrestling builds confidence fast. 

You learn how to stay calm under pressure, 

push through discomfort, 

trust your body, and realize 

you are capable of far more than you ever thought. 

That changes how you walk into classrooms, jobs, friendships, and life.

And girls wrestling is exploding right now! 

College opportunities are growing. 

Arizona girls wrestling is growing. 

The athletes joining today are helping shape what this program becomes. 

At Saguaro, you would not just be joining a sport. You would be helping build a culture.

You will sweat. You will struggle. You will laugh harder than expected.

You will make friendships that feel different from most sports 

because wrestling teammates see each other at their strongest and weakest.

Some girls join to get stronger.

What can I wear to practice?

Sweatpants or shorts and a t-shirt

No jeans.  No zippers.  No buttons.  No tank-tops. 

YOU MUST SHOWER EVERY NIGHT.           YOU MUST TRIM YOUR FINGERNAILS.
